CARE stands for: Compassionate Aspirational Responsive Excellence The Maidstone Health Visiting Team are looking for 2 Community Nursery Nurses with a NNEB or NVQ Level 3 in Child Care/CACHE or a Level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice (OU) or a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Early Years to join our Health Visiting team. Experience should include working with children and families in a variety of settings and the candidate must have an excellent knowledge of child development and ideally have some experience of working with children who have additional needs. The role will involve delivering key aspects of the Healthy Child Programme as part of a Health Visiting team. These aspects will include supporting families with infant feeding, child development and child health clinics, both in group settings and on an individual basis. Computer skills are essential, as is a positive attitude to change. You would be expected to have good communication skills, be a team player and be well organised in order to effectively work in partnership with the Early Years Childcare providers and Children's Centres in the area. Successful applicants must be able to travel between clients’ homes and Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust sites.
