An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced Office Manager with strong leadership abilities to join a hugely successful creative/sporty school holiday day-camp for 3-12s in NW1 London. On the Early Years Ofsted register, we are seeking an Office Manager who has run a busy setting, would like to go part time, and be a part of this expanding company. You will be taking this day camp from strength to strength.
It will be your responsibility to ensure children are cared for in a safe environment, meeting all the mandatory regulations and that the administration records are complete and up to date. Please see our website for this coming holiday’s programme.
You will be working within a professional childcare team of 8 or so staff in order to provide the very best experience for the children.
Our team are flexible and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that the children have a fun-filled and enjoyable time, which is what keeps the children coming back to us holiday after holiday. We have amazing sessions, workshops and resources for children but it is our team that really counts and makes the difference.
Located within walking distance to several tube, overground stations and main bus routes, Holiday Academy is in easy reach from a high number of London locations, and also benefits from on-site car parking.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
To assist and liaise with the management team in administering each week’s programme
To manage all day to day operations of a busy day camp - bookings, children’s information and daily schedules
To manage the photographs, website content and mailchimp for each holiday.
To manage, achieve and maintain consistently high standards of care and education within a busy day camp
To ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and circulated
To manage budgets, accounts, bookkeeping and tax returns
To ensure Holiday Academy is best equipped to communicate effectively with parents and external agencies.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
Self-motivation, passion and commitment
Minimum NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 and previous management experience
Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation, and Child protection/Safeguarding.
Knowledge of OFSTED standards
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
Excellent organisational/time management skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
Excellent communication, liaising and delegating skills
Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities / SENCO etc.
Good computer/social media skills
Impressive command of spoken and written English
Excellent rates of pay and bonuses with on-going support and career development.

Dates are flexible – hours up to 8-6pm all school holidays
During term-times there is preparation/meetings and administrative work (and these hours would be negotiable) increasing to full time as we expand into other locations
